Usman is a Fellow Chartered Accountant, bearing membership of the world-renowned English Institute, ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales).

He has extensive experience in corporate sector as well as auditing, having worked in Ernst & Young. Clients audited include Citibank, Wrigleys, American Express Bank. He has over six years experience working with Kaplan in London providing ICAEW qualification exams training facilitation. During this phase, he served clients including PWC, Andersens and KPMG etc.

He has the honor of being one of the youngest-ever members of an ICAEW Standing Committee and one of the few members of Asian origin to have served the prestigious institution in this manner.

Matein Khalid is Managing Director of IPC Global, and Director of American College of Dubai. He is an advisor to royal and family investment offices in the Gulf.

He has four degrees in finance, economics and international relations from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He has worked for investment banks/hedge funds in New York, Chicago, London and Geneva. In addition, he has been CIO of a technology fund in San Francisco, a royal investment office in Dubai and a public insurance company listed on the DFM.

He writes capital markets advisory columns for Khaleej Times, Gulf Business and Oman Economic Review. He is invited to speak at investment conferences worldwide and we are honored to have him in our team.
